Who owns this company, who else we work with, and what you are free to do about it.
NLC Realty, NLC Residential Group LLC, NLC Notary Services and NLC Media Group are owned entirely by Nehemias Lugo-Cheverez and Armando Cheverez. NLC Realty provides its real estate brokerage services through lpt Realty, LLC. When one of these companies refers you to another, we tell you before it happens, and you are never required to use any of them.
Nehemias Lugo-Cheverez is also a licensed mortgage loan officer (NMLS 2619143) with Responsive Mortgage. He is paid by Responsive Mortgage only for loans he originates there himself. Neither NLC Realty nor NLC Residential Group owns any part of Responsive Mortgage, and neither receives any payment from it. You are free to use any lender you choose, and we will work with yours.
We regularly use Hutton Law for residential real estate closings, and we may use the firm for matters related to NLC Residential Group. We have no ownership in Hutton Law and receive no payment for referring anyone to it. You are free to choose any attorney.
NLC Notary Services is owned by the same two owners. It charges no more than North Carolina law allows (G.S. 10B-31): up to $10 per notarized signature in person, $15 for an electronic notarization and $25 for a remote notarization, plus mileage at the federal business rate only if you agree to it in writing beforehand. You may use any notary you prefer.
We do not accept payment for referring you to any lender, attorney, inspector, notary or other service provider.
